War is destruction and despair,
stealing dreams, hope, future — even memories.

We recognize the truth of 1945
when many precious lives were lost.
We will remember it,
and pass it on to future generations.
We must never repeat the tragedies of that sorrowful era.

We live today thanks to those
who passed on their lives to us.
We will not let this continuous spark of life be extinguished.

We honor this miraculous, nature-rich Earth
and commit to protect both people and nature.
We will not kill people.
We will not destroy nature.

私たちは、戦争のない平和な世界を求めます。
戦争は破壊と絶望であり、
夢も希望も未来も、記憶さえ奪ってしまう愚かな行為です。

1945年に、
多くの尊い命が奪われた事実を私たちは知り、
次世代へ伝えていきます。
悲しみの時代に起きた悲劇を二度と繰り返しません。

今ここに生きているのは、
命の連鎖をつないでくれた人々のおかげです。
その輝きを絶やしてはなりません。

奇跡のような誕生で生まれた地球を守り、
人と自然の命を尊びます。
私たちは、決して人を殺さず、
決して自然を破壊しません。
